Got this beaver yesterday with a help of my buddy Born2late,
Might need a crane to hang this beaver on a tree for next cat season 😆

Always amazed how big they get.
Was fun checking them with you.im glad you had to drag it back to the truck🤣.
Question, what is the biggest anyone one has caught or heard of catching? I remember someone on here saying they got a 75 pounder out of the skagit river. Just curious and wonder how old a beaver this size is.

That's a Chunk!!! Most people don't weigh them and just guess, either way that's a big one.
Great catch...

You should be able to get 4 baits out of that one. Still time to use it this year.

My personal best is 70. Unfortunately back in the days when I sold my fur. Wish I kept it. Probably sold a good memory for 60 stoopid dollars.

I got a magnum like that this year. I'm sending it off to Moyle to get it tanned. I actually got nervous when I was pulling it in, thought I had a lab. Biggest to date at 82 pounds.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

Great catch there! My biggest was 63 last year out of a small creek. I know some of the old trappers had caught stuff in the 90s(pounders) on the westside off the rivers. I don’t know if anything bigger than the 60+ I had last year would fit in our cage style sets.

Teacherman, giant. Unreal to catch one that big. I bet your heart sank half a sec when you thought it was a lab 😂😂
