Spring!

Spring is sprung, the grass has riss, gotta find out where the turkeys is! Cabin fever has me more than ready to get out and find em. Gonna be a bit different year, weather is at least 2-3 weeks ahead of normal. Snow level is already quite high and birds are gobbling like crazy. I think the big winter flocks are already breaking up and birds will be more scattered than normal for the opening week. My favorite spots are beckoning me to come spend some time.

I am counting the days until I can make it over and hear my first 2026 gobble!!  If I had to choose one thing to hunt for the rest of my life, it would absolutely be turkeys for me, purely from an enjoyment standpoint.  The deer meat goes a lot farther though.
