bear patterns

How much area does a bear travel in a given day/week/etc...?
I know a couple bear in one area and was wondering if they will be there beginning of the opener.

It can depend on a lot of factors including food sources, available cover and human pressure.

On of the areas I have been scouting had no bear sign a month ago and know seems to have some.  The berries were going strong last time I was up there but I dont know if that will be the case in another 20 days.  I need to find the black berries up there because those should be ripe by then.
