I was in South Carolina this last week and made it out fishing on Wednesday.  For those of you who have lived in the south, figured you'd like this one:

That’s a beauty!  Can you keep them that size?  When I lived in Texas we had a slot limit on them, anything that big had to be released.

SC has a tight slot limit, like 15-23", so all the big ones are released.  We didn't take any measurements, but this one was probably 40"+.  We snapped a quick pic and got him back in the water.
