Brunton Echo Rangefinder
« on: July 25, 2009, 09:46:17 AM »
Does anyone own or have used the Brunton Echo rangefinder?  I'm in the market for a range finder right now and I've read some great reviews about this particular model.  The price is right too, I've found it for as little as $131.00.  Specs are: ranges 15 min-440 max, rain mode, water resistant, however does not have inclinometer.  I'll mainly use it for bowhunting but I'm sure it'll be usefull during rifle season too.  Just wanna see if someone's got any experience with this one.

I got one for $99 when Joes was closing, so i could not pass it up.  I have been very happy with it.  I have had readings from a bouie on the lake at 530 yds.  I have not tried it in the rain, but I consistently get readings over 400 yards on any surface.  For the price, I think it is great.
