this next Friday through Sunday is the magical time here in the Southeast, I bet 80% of the bulls will rub in those 3 days... just something about it :dunno:

I saw two 6X6 buls together yesterday.
One was completely rubbed out and one still in full velvet. :dunno:

I haven't seen a bull for a couple of weeks (been out of town), but they should be getting close.  I don't see any rubs yet.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Had pictures of five different branched bull on my trail cam last week all in full velvet, checking it tomorrow so I will let you guys know what they are like now.

No elk on the trail cam, but I did see a young bull today.  Still in velvet.  Found a fresh rub though.

saw 5 nice big bulls last night in the bumping unit, all of them still had perfect velvet.  Should be about another 10 days or so around here for them to grow.
