NEF Single Shot Barrel Changes?

I have a NEF Pardner Model single shot 20Ga, is that the same as the Handi Rifle, where you can just buy different sized barrels for it?  I wanna get a .45/70 barrel, could I do that? 
I would rather be a conservative nut job, than a liberal with no nuts, and no job!

Sorry, but no.  The shotgun receiver is made to different specs vs. the rifle receivers.  In order to get a barrel from NEF/H&R, you'll have to send them the action and hand guard... they will then fit a barrel to the correct receiver.  You can have a shotgun barrel fitted to a rifle receiver, but not vice-versa.  I have two NEFs (purchased in .223 and .243) and one H&R.  The barrels are definitely "fitted" because the .30-30 and .45-70 barrels that I bought from H&R will only fit to the receiver that I sent to the company (the barrels are even engraved with the correct receiver's serial number).
