My second one
« on: August 14, 2009, 09:13:04 PM »
Just got the second of these trail camera's because I've had such good success with the first one.  I am adding my own camo to it right now.

Klick- A buddy of mine picked one up and is having trouble with the SD card not recording pic's, did you need to do a special format process before you started with it?

make sure the card is empty of pics when installed, then put it in before turning unit on, then go to set up and do whatever set up you want and then be sure to hit ok on the set up menu on the format memory card option.  should work.  if you turn the unit on or go to set up menu before installing the card it will not record onto the card, but it will store to the unit.

I just had this problem due to a cheep memory card.  I tried one of my 512 mb cards and it worked, so i returned it and got a scan disc like my others in a 2gb and it works great.  I'll be setting it out with the other one soon.

Either you're as big as Andre-the-giant or those are some itty-bitty cams.

When this shoots in IR mode is there any glow or light at all that would give away the cam to a human? I have a friend that wants an IR cam that he can put on a gate to watch for trespassers. Thanks.............Scott

I was looking at those Bushnells.  However, I saw a lot of negative reviews.  Keep us up to date on how they work.  With photos of course.

Photos look good.

Of course I'd be willing to help get rid of him for you if you could show me the location.  Well, just so you don't have to wast any more photos on him...
