The wife and I were down in Puyallup last night right off Pioneer ave and my 8 yr old daughter says "Dad, theres a deer, or elk or a person or something" and she points at this thing she see's. I couldn't see it right away because it moved around some brush. Then I move again and I see this 5 pt bull elk standing on the Railroad tracks right near town. All by himself wandering around looking like he's lost, then he starts walking through the daffodil bulb fields. That was the weirdest place I've seen an elk before pretty cool.

I went out Thurs. night right at dark.  Let out a few cow calls and then a wimpy squeal with a few really light chuckles.  Two bulls lit up right away and were coming in when it got too dark to see.  Sure wish I could draw a damn tag one of these years!

Yep! It was a 4 or 5 point. I just about chit myself. We were down right where they are building that new overpass, right underneath it  this bull standing on the railroad tracks, Crazy place for an Elk. The rut is just starting so I'm guessing he got kicked out of herd or something.

Are you talking from Divide ridge? Most of these pics look like the jumpoff/louie gap area to me. Could be wrong though.

That bull near Puyallup is a very short distance from my house.   My neighboor saw that same bull.

Dude if your camera broke at 7AM you sure did get into a lot of Elk in the 1 hour of daylight that you had before your camera went tits up?  Also the way some of the shadows are being cast it sure looks like its quite a bit later than 7AM in some of those pics?  Anyways since your girlfriend payed the $700 for the luv sac and not YOU, and your not really out anything, and it sounds like it could be stained from some cuddle time, so would you take $100 for it..... delivered to my house since you cover a lot of ground anyways it could just be a pit stop, maybe take some pics of the bucks in my back yard while your here.  Oh ya ive got some .54cal Buffalo bullets for the Muzzleloader Id throw in to sweeten the deal for you on the OLD LUV SAC! :dunno:
