thanks found a hunting partner..
« on: August 25, 2009, 08:37:14 AM »
 :cryriver: :'( :'( :'( :'(
My brother decided that he cant go with me next week for opening day deer archery.  He doesn't have a deer tag so i guess i dont blame him, but i was trying to talk him into bear hunting while i deer hunt.

So a week before we were supposed to go he tells me he cant go.  :bash: Now im up Sh*t creek and don't have a partner for opening day.   :bash: :bash:

We had a couple of ideas where we wanted to go, but nothing in stone.

So do i dare ask.......i have Friday September 4th off and i planned on leaving on Thursday September 3rd after work until Monday September 7th.

If you need a hunt partner or would be able to offer me to come along i would rather not go alone.
i have all my own gear and food but just would rather not go alone.

thanks in advance guys!

Sorry to hear about the sudden change in plans  :( I know it makes things more difficult.

I would not mind going with you ( l like meeting and hunting with new people) but i have other obligations already.

If it was me, I would just go by myself.  :twocents:

Why not just hunt alone?  I am just curious as I prefer going out alone.....

this is a personal choice.
i would just much rather go with someone.
i have only been hunting 4 years and this is my first archery season so i would rather have someone to talk to and walk the hills with.

Well as far as a location i had a couple of places that we picked but not sure about hunting archery in them.
if you are really serious about hooking up PM me.
thanks guys

Give BChaser a PM i hear he has a few tied up maybe you could wear him out on one of those road trips. Maybe he would help break the dry spell.

At least your persistant.  Some of your post remind me of a Bum I see everyday on the side of the ROAD holding a sign up asking for everybodys hard earned money, rather than just getting out there and earning it on his own...  :dunno: :chuckle:
