ya i know i went hiking once just for fun when i overheard the guys talking at sportsmans, once i started stalking that little herd od deer, i was hooked,   went home all exited, and within 2 weeks, bought 3 guns,  but didn't hunt yet,   :P

Great area have had sucess and like area up around deviles table and over towards american ridge.

If its not that far for you to drive, it might be worth it to hunt out there, especially in the middle of the week if you can. Not saying that you will kill a buck, but its not a bad place to start. :twocents:
