Fishing was not great for us today, 7:30am to 5pm split between trolling and anchoring. Not a sniff for 2 rods. We did see one get caught about 3pm but that was it. Very few boats out in the Kalama area. Water temp was 46.5 to start and 47.6 by the end of the day. Visibility was good at 2.5-3' but there is a lot of weeds/debris that gets hung up on your line. Will be back at it in the AM for another go. Good luck out there!

Another tough day for us! I did manage 1 takedown/drive-by while on anchor but still pretty lackluster. We only fished until 1:30 today mostly on anchor. Many more boats out today but we only saw 1 fish caught. Fishchecker at Kalama said the first boat in had 2 but nothing after that. Weather was good, water was good, it should pop off any day. Good luck to those who make it out before the closure! Back to work for me... :'(

I fished Fri solo and Saturday with 4 rods out. Fri was good. Released a couple 8-10lbers and kept a nice big one. Saturday we got one and lost two. Sunshine and zero wind both days was nice. I won’t make it back before the closure, on to the willamatte. Catch rates seem pretty low overall. Hopefully we see some more days.

Fishing should be good this weekend. Nice tides, turbidity on the way down. I’ll be there Saturday. I would toss some pics up but I’m slightly electronics challenged and can’t figure it out.

Same here bouts getting excited for a slow building run. Chasing blackmouth in MA13 has been more enjoyable so gonna skip the bigC.

Yesterday was pretty slow for being April 11 and perfect water temp. We killed 2 and lost a couple. Would be out today but I got stuck with a devils club branch in the eye while antler hunting Friday night. Didn’t bother me too much until part way through the day fishing yesterday. Hit urgent care on the way home and have a scratched and infected eye. Hopefully some of you guys are out catching them.
