Not quite a shooter or is he?
« on: August 29, 2009, 09:03:42 AM »
Well archery season flew up on me and I figured I better get out and scout for at least one morning before the opener. Good thing I have multi-season tag or this buck might be in trouble. He'll get a free pass until late archery if my tag is not filled on a better one by then. Check out the extra main beam buck, wish he had a better frame to go with that dagger.

I think we're watching the same buck, Did it have another buck with it that had oddball antlers?

These are on private land. But they do wander off once in while.

Yep, I've got permission to hunt there if it's the same place I'm thinking it is.  :IBCOOL:

Let him grow another year. Every time we get a few 4 points they get shot before they grow up.  :'(

I've got my eye on a big whitetail up at Kettle I'll probably spend most of my time there this year. Usually don't hunt the mulies until the late hunt. He does need another year or 2.

Too hot and dry to spend time alot of time early for me too. The late hunt is the fun one.

Ok, so with Multi-Tag I set my goal at 150 min until late season. Is this buck going to make 150 gross? I am horrible at scoring.

No.  He will be hard pressed to break 140" gross - I would say more like 130's........Don't you already have a couple of bucks like that?  Wait for good one - 155" is where they start getting interesting in WA with a bow.
