Redstar, I have a bunch of ways that I cook up those panfish...
Steam them in the microwave with a speck of butter and some old bay seasoning, then serve with rice.
Pan fry in butter and lay atop a scrambled egg breakfast.
Deep fry them quick (not too long) in the Fry daddy...
I even have a variation of your beer in foil trick, which is excellent too.
Glad to see someone else enjoy those panfish, seems a lot of guys toss them back.... very good eating....
