Screamin' in the Blues
« on: August 31, 2009, 06:42:48 PM »
Was up cutting a load of wood Friday in the Blue Creek Unit.  Just before I started the chainsaw I thought I heard a whistle.    We dug around and got out the cow call and did some chirping.    Got a full bugle in response.  We went back and forth for a little while, but our wind was blowing toward him, so he started moving away, up the canyon.  We did finally see him pop out onto an open hillside about 600 yards away.  Just a raghorn, but they're gettin' started!!
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Awesome!  I was hoping they would be going by this weekend.  I am heading down Saturday and wanted to hear a few.
