If a guy were to buy one of these to get into MZ hunting, are you going to be able to get the necessary parts down the road?  Seems like its a great gun, plus its legal in WA. Am seriously thinking about picking one up for down the road but am a little worried about this.

I read that all the parts will still be available through Modern Muzzleloading.  Pretty simple design and not much that I would worry about needing to replace.

Ditto to what lowedog said. Nipples are all too common, and the only other thing that I could ever see failing would be the breach plug and they havent been too hard to find as of late(just baught 4 just in case, but havent been through 1 in 4 years).

I wouldn't worry about it. If I came across a good one I would pick it up. There really isn't anything to go wrong.

I recently bought one of these and got to finally fire it today!  Was my first time shooting a muzzleloader and it was a blast, literally!  I love it.

Have to concur. Picked one up at Bi Mart. I tried various loads, bullets
Found that 110 grains of powder and 325 buffalo bullets shot the best groups.

Tried the pryodex pellets and sabot bullets did not have much luck with tight groups.

Also get a peep sight. Really helps with shooting. Have taken 2 cow elk with mine
