Just got told yesterday by my hunting partner that he can't make it for early archery on the Westside.
I've been scouting areas surrounding the Toutle in anticipation that I needed to find something close to him because he drew a tag and I didn't. If anyone is still looking for a hunting partner on the Westside maybe we could hook up and chase some Elk around
I plan to come down into the area around Mt. Saint Helens early Saturday morning the 5th and find a camp. Don't have anything locked down because of all the road closures. So far I've checked out the Winston, Mossyrock, Randle, and looked at some spots in the Coweeman. Last year hunted the Lewis River and Wind River units. I'm coming down from Marysville so it will take me 3 or 4 hours to get down depending on how the traffic is. Send me a reply or PM me and we can talk details. Thanks guys and good luck to you all !
