Ducks55....Duck hunting, a date and deer hunting...I'm having a very hard time feeling sorry for you.  ;)  Yep, been getting prepped here too, trying to figure out where I'm going to go for the opener though.  Usually I hit the Columbia (central WA), but this year I'm thinking I'll stay local and try to find some out of the way places to do some jump shooting, etc.

Thats what I did. :IBCOOL:

Got up, shot ducks, went back to bed for a bit, then went to homecoming.

Took inventory about 2 weeks ago on the decoy situation just in case because I was about to buy more. Glad I didn't... had way more than I thought...

about 12 doz mallards, 3 doz pins, 1 doz widgeons, 1 1/2 doz teal, 1 1/2 doz wood ducks, 7-10doz goose shells, another 1 doz mallards that I'm painting for coot, and another 1 1/2 doz magnum mallard floaters I'm painting for Canadas!

I'm jazzed. had the shells out for early goose but didn't really see anything. Opening duck day I'll be deer hunting up north, but the following week ducks will drop.
