First of the year
« on: September 11, 2009, 05:13:33 PM »
Well peeps as of today got my first adult king of the year  ;). Throwing # 4 blue foxes for about a week an half finally paid off with this 12 1/2 pounder. He really didn't fight until he saw the river bank then the fun began ;) I also hooked a k jack this morning but had to turn it loose due to the famous fin.
Here's a funny part. I have 2 hunt wa hats. One I wear all the time and it shows the other is my backup. About 2 wks ago I couldn't find my older hat so I went to my new one and that day I caught a 20ln jack and hooked 3 others. From that day it's been dead no bumps no bites nothin. So this morning I told my wife I'm gonna change hats, maybe it'll change my luck. With a smirk she says your not superstitious are you? No but I'm not taking any chances somethings gotta change. AND IT DID  :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

Sorry forgot to rotate pic  :bash:
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

If you want to make God laugh tell him your plans.
