Only if I had a bow tag!!!
« on: September 16, 2009, 07:21:26 PM »
So me and my dad always head up to the high hunt in gmu 203 and spend a few days camping and spending time getting in shape for regular season!!! So with the season opening on Tuesday we had a few days to camp out and do some grouse hunting!!! I'll be darn if we didnt see 4 legal bucks in 2 days not farther than 20 yards off thee road :bash: On the biggest one he was a 3x3 but real heavy horned and about 23-24 wide i got out of the truck and walk towards him and he didnt move!!! It started walking towards me and then ran by the truck and me at 5 yards!!! Might be bow hunting next year!!! I will put photos and a story on our very weird high hunt!!

the minute you have a bow in your hands this will never happen again  :hello:
No people will tamely surrender their Liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffused and Virtue is preserved. On the Contrary, when People are universally ignorant, and debauched in their Manners, they will sink under their own weight without the Aid of foreign Invaders.

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

The best one is when your doing rifle elk and all the huge bucks you run across.  Damn rut anyways.
