Humbolt Squid
« on: September 25, 2009, 04:08:12 PM »
In the westport boat basin down by the islander there were around 100 squid swimming around. If it;s like last year in a few days they will really show up. Guys were casting over them and hooking them with squid jigs. Some nice silvers caught off the mouth of Johns river today it hurts to let a 25 pound king go to keep a silver but at least were fishing.

Well now you have hunting season and all winter to get your boat fixed so you will be the first one ready next year. Deer and elk taste better than fish anyway.
