good ones Doug

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

old warriors, isn't that the truth.  I often land a chinook and wonder all the obstacles it overcame to get all the way up to the end of their journey.   From the sea lions, to the commercial nets, to the tribal nets, past hundreds of other anglers baits, through many of fish ladders, all to finally gulp my bait.  Pretty amazing.  Nice pics!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Thanks Guys.  Isn't that the truth Mt.Muley.  I missed a good shot because it happened too fast.  An osprey swooped down and snagged a smaller one.  Swam all that way and arrived to the spawning area and BOOM.

Great captures Bone. You don't see too many "live fish" pictures! I'm sure it's not as easy as you make it look?

ya have to have a lot of respect for a salmon. All of the miles and obsticles they go through to spawn, then you get a jack ass who most likely cant catch fish snag them out there spawning bed. I have seen it many times on the klick and have nearly got into a couple of fights over it. Then the dumb*censored*s take them home because they will smoke good. Give me a break. :puke:

Thanks!   They were hard to capture.  I took a bunch and all it is are a fish under water.  Not "real" interesting.   I need one of those rapids where they are leaping out of th ewater.  I enjoyed watching them, but not real photographable.
