New holster squeaky
« on: September 25, 2009, 06:34:53 PM »
I just received my leather holster for my Blackhawk.  Was supposed to get it quite a while ago and was planning on carrying it this year but the holster squeaks real bad.  Does anyone have a solution to this?  I would like to wear it but if its too loud I won't.    Thanks.   If it still squeaks I could always use it to call in  some predators :chuckle:

Just like a baseball glove.  Put some saddle soap on and work it in.  The squeaks will go away with use.

Duh. I can't believe I didn't think of that :bash:.  Thanks for the reminder.

Linseed oil is another good choice too.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
