Congrats ...

I was on the hill about 40 minutes when I got my two birds ... had planned on a tom in Roosevelt unit, but found the wife was really sick when I called to tell her about the birds ... headed home instead.

hey emptyhanded, sounds like my first turkey kill.  It was 8 years ago when i was 9.  That was back when fall turkey was a drawing.  I got drawn and 5 minutes into shooting light, a flock flew right in front of me and it was over too fast! have had lots of experience with turkeys since then.

Well congrats guys ... wife is feeling lots better now, but about every 3 months she gets hit with diverticulitis, so think a surgery probably is in her future.
