Wow, there are still some decent people out there. Thanks for holding the torch. Was a very commendable thing you did there.

Integrity and honesty...........wonderful qualities that elude so many these days. Nice to see it still exists.

Great that you found the owner! All when I was wondering if there really were honest people out there.
Gets me thinkin.. "Home" is a locked way point but I think I'll put my name and number in the battery cover or electronically in my Rino, -just in case I do somethin stupid and give someone else an opportunity to be honest.
I wear this old wool shirt jacket on most hunts. Large pockets. I take the lanyard of the Rino and thread it through the pocket flap button hole, then loop the Rino through the loop. Rino goes in the pocket. Right there when I need it, and I can't drop/loose it.
I found something of about the same value as that 530 on Friday afternoon. On pavement. Generating some good Karma for myself, I've posted an ad in the local small town news paper for someone to reply/identify it. If that doesn't work, there are other slightly more embarassing means to find the owner.
This is something nobody ever wants to lose.

Nicely done... Let us know if the owner does something nice in return. I will put my name on my GPS as well. Good idea.
