hey im headed down to the Mashel unit in a couple days with my smokepipe to try and connect on an elk, i was wondering how any of you did down there for the bow sesason?

buddy of mine pulled to bulls out of there with his partner. one was a hog

i had three bulls going last saturday night. there still pretty hot

a blackpowder hunter that i talked to was sure harassing the archery hunters especially me and my family by following us to all of our areas in his truck bugling out of his truck about 20 times every spot he called. he told me that he didnt want the archery hunters to shoot a five point he had seen but i got the five point that i think he was talking about a couple days later. i'm as happy as can be and if you are reading this DAN Karma sucks

i didnt here much, cow called a nice 6x6 and hit a broke off old rub. ended up with a good cow. ther were pretty quit whare i was at till the last weekend. was out this weekend and they were talking good. black powder should have a good season
hunt for the the challange of the hunt and the meat,  and it's always a trophey....poachers suck.
