BLACK SHEEP IN HAYDEN, IDAHO
« on: August 31, 2009, 04:27:59 PM »
I discovered Black Sheep way to late in my stay here in the far east, but at least I've discovered it. Went there today bought a Leupold VX-I scope, one piece SS rifle cleaning rod, lens covers for the scope and paid after taxes about the same that I would of paid if I'd of bought just the scope at Cabela's!
Then I asked about their offer to be a member of Black Sheep (VIP group or something or another). It was free and I received a coffee cup and nice S&W fixed blade knife with a gut hook (never had one of those before).
If you've never shopped at Black Sheep give it a try you might be surprised especially the service!

Yes, that place is nice. My brother who lives in Idaho took me there.

I went there yesterday on the way to Silverwood with my daughters. It is a very nice store. Did you notice their "trophy hats" hanging up on the antlers. A Cabelas hat and a Sportsmans Warehouse hat with shotgun blasts through them.  :chuckle: That store is the one I remember going to as a kid when we lived in north Idaho and when we visited relatives and friends after we moved to western Washington.

Black sheep is my favorite hunting/fishing store. They have good prices, decent selection and a knowledgeable staff. Other than White Elephant they are the only place locally to get all three. They may not have the selection of Cabelas, but the people working the counters know what they have and are generally well versed in the product and polite on top of it.

And the hat is better than Cabelas also.
Never, ever let Creed hold you baby, it will ruin it and you will have to get another.

 :yeah:

Couldn't say it better myself.     They also have a great clothing store across the parking lot.  I'll be heading there on Friday.

Great store.  Picked up ammo and powder there when I went to Silverwood this summer. I used to drive up from WSU to hit that store back in the college days.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

big fan of the store.  Powder is about $5 cheaper per pound.   They had primers when no one else did, and they had boxes of factory ammo for many calibers when no one else did.
