Question on Coyote Madness?
« on: October 02, 2009, 01:47:39 PM »
Hello everyone. I have a buddy that I am going to have sign up as a member so that we can join the Coyote Madness with a team! My question is about my son. He is 13 and will be with me every step of the way for this contest. Do I need to have him create an account in order for him to be part of the team?

Thanks in advance!

Tombo

from the original thread...

Quote
(For rule clarification: A guest hunter can only count toward your total for one hunt, and must be accompanied by a team member.)

if you want his kills to always count, he needs to sign up as a member and then as one of your team.
hope this helps.

OK. Thanks. I was wondering if that was true for minors as well.

We are *gasp* old fashioned parents and do not let our 13 year old have access to the internet

Thanks,

Tombo

If he is 13 he has access to the internet unless you keep him locked in the basement 24/7.  Larry

The internet is like a border town, there are no rules no matter what anyone tells you.  At home things may be controlled, one house down on your block or at the library his friends and him visit spankwire.com daily, this is how things are now in this wonderful age of information.  Take care, things are not what you think they are.   Larry

Wow trotterlg, thanks for telling us parents how it is. I guess you know about all my kids friends and schoolmates, and what they all do in their freetime.   You may want to consider that many of us parents know exactly what are kids are doing in their freetime and on the net.

Kinda agree with Ice here.....I don't live in town my son is usually fishing at the creek or river rarely is he wandering in town with friends and the library is where he and I go together to get books.  He is 13 so doesn't drive town is 7 miles away he is surrounded by Capitol Forest, chehalis river and farms.... its a good thing he likes to fish and hunt.  ;)  OH and I talk to him about the internet and porn and drugs and sex and everything, so maybe I know a little more than some.

And there you go Tombo....looks like you and your son are going on a team...good luck hope he gets a few..... but not too many I want my team to win...now where the heck are those dang dogs hiding  :dunno: :P

Kudos to you dad's that are moderating teenage internet usage! My son is only about 6 months old and I'm actually a little bit nervous about when internet time does start to happen, i've already thought about this!
