Wanted: left for dead

I'm wanting to see some photo's of pre-1970's vehicles. Truck's, car's, Tractor's' Equipment, ... Ones that you have found while hiking or just driving in the rig. Ones that have been left for dead.

This is an old White motor co. dumptruck left behind by Puget sound pulp and timber co. Near Lake Cavanaugh Washington.





Not sure what year or make of truck this is but I found it in Alaska. It has wooden spokes for rims.

Here is a 56 chevy that my Dad has left for dead in his barn. I hope one day he will rebuild it know that he is retired.

Awesome pic topic. 

One of my uncles has atleast a dozen trucks from the 20's to 40's in his back pasture.  He says he's going to get working on them when he retires. 

We had one in the woods behind our house when I was a kid that had a couple of trees growing right up through the long gone floor and roof of the car.

These are from the same place near Cavanaugh. I grew up in this area. We call it the bone yard.

I found an old yarder this year that had been left by some loggers.  Should've gotten a picture of that...

It sure was quite a trek. I walked from the gate. It was approx. eleven miles round trip. I hiked about thirteen miles that day with a couple of side trips into some places my granddad had told me about.

I found the frame of an old steam donkey.





And also some glass insulators one still had the post with it.

Not going to lie i had no idea what a "steam donkey" was? I looked it up and I'll be honest it was not what i thought.  my mind almost got drug into the gutter!!! Anyway, cool find!
