anyone been to the samish river king fishing yet this year? r they thick yet and what colors are working? me and a buddie are heading up there sunday

I really try to refrain from these threads but...Samish river = big jigs, and lots of hook setting...

Kings are coming, fish the tides, any color works when your ripping it through the water...

Fish eggs or vibrax in the big deep holes will produce if your patient.  Check the regs, the rules have changed due to my first sentence.

A little late on the Samish fishery.  Tailing off at this time.  Fish are getting dark.
