Wenaha West Black Powder Bull
« on: October 06, 2009, 08:15:31 PM »
Sorry no pictures and a very short story.  My client called with news of shooting a "small bull" I packed him out yesterday morning.  Bull was 6X5 would make 300 if he was 6X6.  Hunter has fused heels so it is very difficult for him to get around. Opening day at 8am they had a nice 6X7 at 70 yards but could not shoot so early in the hunt.  They encountered several bulls during their hunt. He was in a tough place to get the mules to but with a little working around I got to 30 yards below the kill sight.  Used the new legal sabots, really worked well.
