Congrats on a great Rosie bull.  Love the mass, and the coloring.  How far did  you have to pack that 140 lbs?

By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Real nice Rosey there BTKR! Congrats ... I don't doubt the weight of the head and cape, some people scoffed at me when I told them mine weighed 110 but I guess they'd have to be there to see the scale since most have never carried one they know how much they weigh right???   I had some neck meat and scraps in with mine though ... yours looks heavier to me, Congrats again!  :)

I knew I shouldn't have posted the weight and yes, we did weigh it...twice..
I only packed it about 300 yards.  :IBCOOL:
Any farther and we would have taken the neck out and probably not kept the cape.

Like I said, we long necked it and I left a little extra hide on the cape. That is all neck and it is resting on the pack shelf.

I needed a little help here.

Is there a reason for leaving the neck in? Just wondering.

M_ray - No worries. I didn't take it that way.
Just a bad attempt at sarcasm on my part towards the type of people you were refering too.

No real reason. That is just the way we parted it out. We took off the hind first, then the fronts, then we sawzalled down the spine.
