Not trying to one up you but here was my first Elk/Bull.

And yes I smiled from ear to ear for over a year after I shot it. It was the best I ever felt after any hunt.......ever!!!!

My grandfather had already passed but one of my Dad's uncles got to enjoy the experience with me and that was very special.

Nice bull Wapiti, heck no your not one upping. That's what this thread was about. 1st bull pics and stories. Way to go. Great memory for you I'm sure.

All I can say is thank goodness for lazer eye surgery as those glasses were hideous! :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
