I shoot Hornady Light Magnums in my .308, both the 150 and 165 grain bullets.  Very happy with their performance.

The bear claw is a great bullet. I used to use them in the 06 and they do the trick. Stopped using them when I started reloading years ago.

this is a tactical rem with a 20 inch bull barrell , using the light magums might not be benifishal with that barrell. thats why I went with the fedrals. If I had the 26 inch I'm sure that the hornadys would have been my choice.looking for an accurate round with out hand loading. the 168's seem to hold  better long range ballistic's. I dont plan on shooting over 500 yards. i've been told that it will shoot 1/2 min groups at 100 yards good enough for me.

For deer... bear... elk... paper punching?  I have had good performance with Rem CLs and Win PPs on deer... haven't killed one with a Fusion yet.  For elk, a .308 wouldn't be my absolute first choice, but I would feel the Fusion would get the job done but, the BC would be a better choice... the same for bear.  As for tactical/target, its hard to beat the TAP loads.

The TBB bullet is one tough SOB.
Like a partition on steroids.
Federal had a line with those bullets in different cartridges that were pretty hot.
Exceeded most other factory velocities.
I bought some for my 7-08.
Never shot anything but paper sighting them.
Good elk bullet, too tough for deer(pass-through)
