kittsap county
« on: October 17, 2009, 03:50:08 AM »
Hey guys I was just wondering about the deer in kittsap? If I cant find the buck I have been hunting on the east side I am thinking of hunting late black tail. I have talked to the biologists and they say the population is great and the rut will be full swing. Also I was wondering the chance of a bit of snow? thanks

the rut will most likely be over by the late season if you pm me your # i will call and talk about areas. the deer have gotten pretty nocturnal the last few weeks but with rifle season ending they should calm down a little

I thought you could hunt some areas east of 16? To bad if you can't, I work in that area and have seen some monster bucks out towards southworth and the banner area.

you can hunt there. it is everything on the left side of Bear Creek Dewatto Rd. is mason GMU and it is closed for late season archery. i live near Port Orchard if anyone is looking for a hunting buddy. if you know a good spot i will even drive. i just don't know what i am doing and am looking for a little help getting my first kill. doe or buck it don't matter.
