when does the hunting start?
« on: December 29, 2007, 01:36:05 PM »
The title says it all. After finding a nice elk shed during the early archery season, I think I may have got the bug! I have heard the best shed hunting starts in April. Is there any truth to this? I have a few great area's to shed hunt but I don't know when they start dropping the bone, any help would be great! Thanks in advance.

Friend saw one around me that has dropped one side. So much powdery snow though probaably wont be findable until the snow melts.
