i appoligies for the darkness in the picture. I had to make a photo copy of the original which is hanging on my fridge. lots of good pictures on the fridge but takes to long to copy and then post them......Thanks again, i really liked the picture to.....And that was an awesome hunt. I was out taking pictures with my canon rebel(35mm) and i came up to this field that had this bull and two other fighting in a flooded over field. they both were about a foot in the water and FIGHTING to the death. From about 400 yrds i could see blood and water thrashing everywhere. and then out of no where i see a group of three guys lying down in the water, on there bellies hand over hand getting closer to these guys, watched them set up about 200 yrds away from these bulls, and drop both in two timed shots. way awesome. this first bull dropped right where he was and the second bull ran off into the near by woods and then died somewhere. took a while to find him...........Ended up getting alot of great pictures that day...i might post more of the fight if i can get them copied and loaded.....

This day was full of excitement.........good memories!!!

You folks are really posting some beautiful pictures.  Keep it up.  Everytime I see these it makes me thankful for living in such a beautiful state with amazing diversity in wildlife and scenery.  The greatest man made art can't even come close to God's creations.

I needed this comment today. Comments like that make me grateful, and grateful is something I need to be aware of. Thank you, tlbradford.

I agree...much to be grateful for.  The photos on this site are incredible also.  Had to go for a drive in the snow today just to enjoy the scenery and saw to large bull elk also...no pic tho'.  So far I think the winter has been easy on the game in the foothills of the Blues.
It never changes, but it is always different.
