Is this the buck stamp?  I have heard that this is the new state record muzzy buck.  Scored 266.  Shot in 45.

I don't know you from Adam but are you sure you know what a 170 buck looks like. I have spent some time there and never have seen lots of 170 class bucks. If you said lots of 150's I would say thats about right but lots of 170's anywhere in todays Idaho I don't know. If your right I would say keep your mouth shut and hope you get drawn again soon. You have found a honey hole.
I am hoping to see you holding a 30 plus perfect typical soon!

I have spent time in there and have seen plenty of bucks over 180.  Most were on private ground but hey.  Keep your mouth shut honey hole?  Unit 45 isn't a secret.  It's the best late Idaho hunt there is.  Some of my friends got huge bucks out of there.  15 years ago it was a bit of a decent draw with a muzzleloader.  Now it's a long shot any year.

im pretty sure the guy that killed that buck was a local not from bonners ferry but that is the new state record for muzzy, or would be but i think i heard the hunter doesnt want to strip the velvet so it will not be able to be officially scored

here you go straight from the regs

"Landowner Appreciation Permits: Owners of at least 640 acres in 1 hunt area that provides significant habitat for deer, elk, or pronghorn, may be eligible for a Landowner Appreciation Permit."

Can they sell them?

Not sure on that it goes on to say eligible landowners have to register their land and eligible applicants so im guessing that they could make you an eligible applicant for the right price, then you still have to draw but i bet they are way easier to draw than the regular draws
