Coyote Hunting Anyone???

I am looking for anyone that knows of a place to go coyote hunting and would not mind letting me tag along for the hunt. I am on Whidbey Island and not sure if there is any on this place. So any help would be great. Thanks in Advance for the help.

which elk season are you refering too? both of those would be a weekend trip for me and i only work mon-thur. but i am going to have A LOT of time off in Dec to Jan time frame.  :IBCOOL:

 Do you think a .22lr with hollow points would work or would i need something bigger?   :dunno:

only thing bigger than that would be my 30 06 i really dont have have anything in between besides shot guns.

the 30-06 will work just fine on any yote  :chuckle: i am a bit to far away or i would teach you young grass hopper :chuckle:

I think a common mistake people make is picking several different guns for several different types of critters.  If you take that '06, you may blow a few up, (hides aren't worth crap this year anyway) but you will find that your old deer/elk gun is much more familiar to you and you will gain confidence in it.  After whacking a few dogs at 300 yards, or taking a few on the run, that buck standing out there looks HUGE.

They make a yote round for your 06 you just have to go out and adjust your scope for it.
