i would use a muzzleloader if you can find one but if you are on you property and not in city limts it should be o.k. but i would really check and make sure its o.k.

Crossbow :dunno: I would get a crossbow, you can pick one up for cheap if you don't have one.

thats what im thinking , i have seen some blacktail on my property  and some scrapes , im waiting for the big boy to come through only problem is my damn yellow lab barks at everything my black lab stays quiet

i thought crossbows were just plain illegal to hunt with in washington???

deer still come no matter if you have dogs or not at least at place they do , but when he sees them or hears them he barks them away , i find fresh elk and deer poop all the time , i have seen several big bulls here

Crossbows are legal with a disabled permit in WA.
