Finnally been hittin the woods the last few days. First was around st helens seen some sign few rubs, but no animals. The other days were in west klick. Weather was 32 and the coldest was 25 in a walk-in only a good mile to our spot. Over the 3 days nothin and very little fresh sign. On the last day after we walked in and got situated in our stand two trucks drive through the middle.
Couldn't beleive it especialy with locked gates. After the shock wore off decided to jump in the timber and zig zag back to the truck taking my time. Still no good sign of deer but did jump a grouse, yes b4 it jumped me
. Eating a little lunch I waited for my partner. He showed up about a half hour later with the same results nothin except a grouse jumped him
. We decided to jump in the truck and find out where they drovin at. About two miles W of we started was the open gate
50 yards up the road from there were 2 doe. After putting several miles on my feet over the last few days the only deer I seen were from my truck
. Fraustrated and short on time I'm gonna hang it up till late buck. Hopefully things will a little better and I'll be taggin after huntin
