Bird bands
« on: November 01, 2009, 10:17:39 PM »
We got lucky this morning and one of the teal we got was banded. I was wondering how many bands you other westside hunters see a year?

I shot one eclipse drake with a band a long time ago, but haven't seen or shot any since then. My old man said that there was a group of ducks at pt. diffiance and three had bands, how would you like that group to lock into your spread? They are truly a life long trophy, kind of cool to see where and when they were banded.

There's been quite a few that I have been seeing so far this season.  Our group has taken 5 and I have several friends that have also shot banded birds on the west side so far.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
