good thing to do in some areas since the god dang prairie coons like to get a hold of the antlers and sell them to let the rest of the elk rot away
them indians think they are big and bad getting all their rights

Yea, that is a pretty offensive statement, regardless of how you feel about the tribal rights and how they are interperated. Hopefully one of the mods will see this and remove it from the thread.

I am sorry but I can not stop laughing at this post!!! LMAO  I have seen and been a part of a lot of Indian bashing on here.....(most rightly deserved)....but this post takes the cake.....
Funniest thing is...this guy probably doesn't see any problem with his wording or the comments made......and all I can do is sit here and laugh!!!

hear a lot of talk about that comment
i dont know if you guys have ever had seen or experienced such a thing that these guys are doing but i have and it aiont cool so i have no problem with my words and niether do the other hunters that see it happen
talked to a lot of people that feel the same way i do
but you are exactly correct its not about race i get just as ticked about some redneck wanabe hunter that does the same thing

I used to work with a guy that had been head of maintenance and site development for WDFW.  He told me they would go into the spike only units prior to season and cut the horns off those animals too.   :dunno:
May that for which I prepare never come to pass.
