I think the pics are doing plenty of talking, but the story would be great too.

--Well my uncle Bill and I started the morning out sitting on clearcuts for the first hour just to make sure no Bulls would be out and they weren't. Are next game plan was to push a small patch of timber that I knew Bulls were in the previous week, No elk! There was a group of cows in this thick timber that I watched the previous week but they got pushed out of the area and into a Christmas Tree farm, we seen them the day before the opener and not a Bull in the herd! We knew for sure there were at least 4 Bulls in the the area and I didn't know exactly where they were but I did know where they weren't! So there was one area that I haven't been in yet down on the Creek bottoms, We hike down there and Bingo, sign everywhere! Fresh sign, just what we were looking for! Where walking through this bottom and I'm telling Uncle Bill HolyCrap this has to be where these Bulls are, there is just sign everywhere! We jump back in the timber and right along another Creek bottom and look up and there he is just looking down at us, Uncle Bill is on the inside of me and I tell him to shoot but he is fighting his scope caps :bash: Well I can see through my scope caps and the rest is in the pics! 300 wsm 1 shot 60 yards. This was definitely the most memorable hunt ever with my uncle Bill!
