Elk Harvest pics 2009
« on: November 09, 2009, 09:10:47 AM »
The deer forum has one so I figured I'd start one in the elk forum.  Post any of your elk harvest pics from 2009.

Our camp came up a little short this year, but here is some from the mountain.
Our neighbor got a spike and a new friends camp filled all three bull tags they had.

Nice bull.  I guess if it was the last day I'd think about taking him.    8)

This is a cell phone pic of my 2009 Montana archery bull.  I don't have a digital camera and the film hasn't been developed yet....

He is quite unique.  His left pedacle is broken and pointing straight down.  You can barely see, but he does have two 1" eyeguards, one of them points straight down toward his eye.  My hunting partners nicknamed him the "Caribou bull".
