i was at colockum all week as well. Black Ranger with red splash underside & huge front bumper.
we mostly stayed out in the little carabou road though at the end.

did drive around a little on thursday or friday, found the way through and to the wind farm. Long muddy (fun slow)drive. learned alot and i too came home without dinner. but wow theres alot of big bulls up there.
Opener i seen atleast 6 bulls with 4x5 5x5 5x6 and a 6x6 countless other 1x2 and 2x3's
but no 100% positive true 1x1's  :bash:
Seen one grouse in a tree on the way down a ravine, a big Mulie buck with atleast a 4x5 but couldnt count good through the trees.
saw lots of dead deer & elk from wild kills. half buried with leaves and needles. kina cool week for sure.
Many many doe all over the mountain too.
doubt i will get an eatdide tag next year though unless i have access to a less traveled hunting area. all the idiots pissed me off too much.
TANNERITE needed for target practice on opening day of each hunting season.
