Teanaway late cow, any tips?
« on: November 11, 2009, 09:00:23 AM »
I have a buddy who drew a late Teanaway cow tag, the season starts i think Dec. 18 or something and runs through the first week of January. I've spent a little bit of time up there but was curious if anyone had any tips on areas. Anything would be appreciated.

Depends on the amount of snow. If there is lots start hitting the private land owners for permission.

PRAY for the snow to stay away! Otherwise you are going to be around town watching people feed the elk from there homes!

I had one of those a couple of years ago. A lot of snow that year which made for tough hunting conditions. A snowmobile for access and snowshoes for hiking around are a big plus. Didn't fill my tag until the last day of the season, which I believe was Jan. 13th that year. The animals will be out there, but you will have to work for them. Scored mine on the ridge just above CleElum.
