great 09 season
«
on:
November 15, 2009, 10:09:31 PM »
It started in Sept. when my cousin called my bull in to 9 yards. But not to be out done, my girlfriend tagged out in Oct. Very proud of her and her first elk.

The eye guards are really cool, they both have little daggers sticking out. Ill try to post a better picture.
Thank you for the warm welcoming. This is my first post so I appreciate the positive replies.

very nice, congrats to you both.
makes me hope for another branched bull (Any Bull) tag again oneday. Had one last year (good camping weather but bad hunting weather) and filled it with a 3 point bull as a last resort to tag soup.

I still can't believe how hot them bulls were that day:) Sure was fun. I wish we could of seen the deep grunter up on the hill. Oh well. You still got a dam nice bull there. Hopefully we can get the other one next year.
You don't need a special permint to kill bulls like those. No draw for either of em.

Congrats! Not to often you can get both tags filled. Are they from the same unit? The antler colors are so different. Like someone else said hers looks like a Rosie.
