Start hiking it and get a feel of the land. It is only a few minutes from my house. PM me if you are headed this way.

I took a moose off Mica Peak a few years ago. Here's what I remember.

1) Lot's of deer, turkey, and moose. Said to be elk, but I never saw one.

2) Inland Empire owns most of it, they require a permit to use their land.

3) It's gated off but motorcycles, ATV's, bicycles, horses, are allowed.

4) There is state land to camp on there by the main WA access.

This is all subject to your own verification.

Good luck.

Backstap gave you a good run down of Mica. There is also a way to access the Washington part of it coming in from Idaho.
Biggest best recommendation is spend time on the mountain.

John, see if you can find a GMU for Mica Peak ( might not be one, but woth a try), maybe at Bi-Mart in Spokane, Ask Nikki where there is one she might know, she worked in that area. And when you post a thread you might want to let the people who read it know your 17 and don't have a car ;) Be good while I'm gone :chuckle: Mom.
