Are you going to admit to what you purchased yet?

I'm hoping he scored a new canon so I can get another opinion on it.  I am very intrigued with the thought of my 400 mm lens fitting on it.  That would be what about a 600mm. : )   I was seriously looking at the nikon line, but his new infor is very intrigueing.   like I've said many times before I've always loved Canon.

Oh, I shoudln't be the one to spill the beans on it.

Your 400mm would be a 640mm  :)  My opinion on it is it kicks ass.  I haven't used any of the Nikon digitals though.  I was watching the 'Travels with Art Wolf' show the other day and get this, he shoots a Canon!  I'm seeing lots of 20d and 30d cameras for $500-600 over here on craigslist...

It changes.  I use auto and then change it in raw afterwards.  Make sure you get the plugin for Windows so that it can see your raw images.  Oh, nice kitty.

Go to the canon website at the following address...

http://www.somewebsitethathasinformationaboutwhatcamerasliderboughtthatwedontwantbonetoknowabout.com

Select your Operating System or OS as Vista, then download the RAW 1.2 codec...  That's all it takes.

Now you can see your raw images in your standard Windows folders and such.

Slider, hurry and get some more 40" deer pics with your new toy before they loose their horns.
